The Story Behind “Grace on Fire”

Why I wrote the song that named the album - what it cost, and what it gave back.

Template post — Tony, replace this body with the real story. This file is a working pattern: the metadata above already drives SEO, the sitemap, the OG image and JSON-LD. Keep the heading structure (it helps search ranking), swap in your own words, then delete this note. Markdown works: bold, italic, links, blockquotes, lists, headings.

Every song on the record has a moment it came from. This one had a night.

Where the song started

Set the scene. What was happening when this song arrived — the room, the state you were in, the thing you couldn't say any other way. This is the section people search for: the honest origin, not the press release.

The line that wouldn't leave

Pull out the lyric that carries the whole song. Quote it, then say what it actually means to you now versus what it meant when you wrote it.

A short lyric or line, set as a quote, lands harder than a paragraph about it.

What it gave back

Close on what the song did — for you first, and for anyone it might reach. This is the part that turns a reader into a listener.

Listen

You can hear Grace on Fire on the Fall From Grace album. It's the one the album is named after.
